Dr. Sean McDowell is a Christian professor who sometimes plays the role of an atheist and engages with students in debates about Christianity. The point of his debates is to teach students how to witness the truth of Christianity with grace and love. He finds that most Christians get defensive while communicating the facts about their belief and encourages the students to know well what they believe, and specially how to share it. Jesus was full of grace and truth. I find that people are most receptive to the gospel when we hear the Holy Spirit and follow His lead, than when we approach them with just facts. “People don’t care how much you know, until they see how much you care.” How do you share the gospel? What do you find most challenging?
